At this point of my career, I want to start writing a blog to share my experience with the world, about the things I am learning and how I am growing. Let's start with an introduction.
I have over 16 years of work experience, of which 7 was earned as a programmer and 9 as a chartered accountant. I did my ACA with PwC and then worked as part of their financial due diligence team in London. For the last few years I have been working as the FP&A Manager for Gresham House plc, an AIM-listed alternative asset manager.
For obvious reasons, the learnings will be generalised and
will not have any specific information related to any of the places that I have
worked in. Nevertheless, I hope it will have enough for somebody to benefit
from, laugh at my follies or share their own experience.
Now, to the most important part: the disclaimer! To be clear,
most of the articles are going to be my observations and opinions, with some
occasional analysis. You are free to follow or ignore at your own peril :D.
